About Us

About us and our product offerings

SCFA stands for sustainable and efficient agriculture input services focusing on:

  1. Increasing the net income of (small) farmers,
  2. The ability for (small) farmers to diversify and grow cash crops like tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers etc.
  3. Reduce the input of water,
  4. Reduce the nutrient input but increase yield.

This can be accomplished by introducing easy to use fully water soluble nutrients in combination with simple and affordable drip irrigation systems. Such systems work either on gravity or via solar powered irrigation pumps. Additionally one tunnel greenhouses can be added.

The team

Our Team consists of highly motivated professionals with the aim to follow their passion: Make seemingly high tech irrigation and nutrition systems available to smaller plot farmers.

Our working style is “hands-on” based on our extensive 20 year international business experience in the Asia Pacific and China, in particular in the fertilizer and chemical industry. We say what we do and we deliver what we promise.

Philosophy and vision

Our philosophy is to empower farmers to diversify their crops in an affordable and sustainable way as to increase their income and become less dependent on others. It is therefore our vision to become the reliable partner for farmers.

Our core business: water soluble nutrients and affordable irrigation processes

Water soluble nutrients are nutrients, which dissolve easily in water and are immediately available for plant use. Benefits of water soluble nutrients include:

  • very low chlorine content
  • low Na & biuret level
  • low salt index (EC)
  • high purity, free of toxic compounds
  • ideally-chelated Metal trace elements (NPK’s)
  • complete solubility and the total absence of residues due to high- quality raw materials
  • color coded for easy identification
  • highly reliable and consistent product quality through strict evaluation procedures

Drip irrigation is an irrigation method that saves water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either onto the soil surface or directly onto the root zone, through a network of valves, pipes, tubing, and emitters. It is done through narrow tubes that deliver water directly to the base of the plant.
